It also seems to be happening when I am moving around the map from one area to another. I am not using the keyboard, I am holding the mouse pointer at the top/side of the screen and it just freezes up.
2nd crash might have been caused by that or something similar. Was trying to correct a gridlock situation at the time.
Mouse & keyboard are unresponsive, and Windows 10 eventually prompts that InfraSpace is unresponsive, and asks if I want to continue or exit the program. (Not the exact wording, but you get the drift.)
For me the "crashes" are the game locking up; cant move the screen, nothing moves, essentially looks like you hit pause. Nothing responds, eventually I will get the blue spinning wheel like it is waiting for something, but it never recovers. To get out I hit Control Tab and it goes white screen and asks if I want to stop the program or wait. I have to stop it.
Also I played for 2 hours last night without a crash (It was crashing every 10-30 minutes), the only difference was that I never zoomed all the way out when moving around the map. and I tried to use the movement keys (WASD) instead of just moving the mouse to the edge of the screen. After 2 hours it did crash/lock up.
my laptop runs cooling fans at 100%, when i play this game
after few hours, or less, my same laptop shuts down, being too hot, i guess
then, after i power up, the game is reloaded, but my mouse pointer is gone
might be gpu issue ? too intensive cpu calculations ?
love the game
I left it running this morning and will check on it after work.
I should have Mountains of Concrete and Steel made and ready to go. :-)
