But noo, all you do is have your feet glued to the ground and wield a sword as if it's your first time picking one up, same as the soldiers
Anyway, worst investment ever :)))
I don't know how far you have gone, but as you advance you eventually unlock counters, dodges, guard breaks, throwing knifes, daggers, and more moves to assist in parkour/climbing. Also if you time your hits correctly from the beggining you can 2-hit many enemies. And countering anyone with a hidden blade is instant kill.
There's a reason the game has the tutorial fighting ring. When i play the AC games i personally rarely even use the sword, i much prefer the dagger and hidden blades. Makes it feel slightly more assassin-like.
AC 1till relevations had pretty good combat
after that it went a bit down the hill was easier from game to game.
I had a console version on my ps3 at fist played it through... liked it a lot and bought the game again for pc way after that...
IMPO i would say its because gamers are used to use a controller today as AC was first playable with mouse and later with controller i still think with mouse its easier to play...
Same with shooting games...
but everyone has its own taste.... and as xbox 360 controller has a wrong key assignment in AC 1 what can easily be changed in the options menu its a bit confusing.
