Hello, there is no NPC sign to summon before the boss. Kukajin is in Skyrest Bridge.

You are better off that way, the every npc is downright useless in that fight.

Something I realized. Some npc's require you to summon in order to progress their quest, yet bosses can't be summoned for unless you fail the first encounter. If you are better than good that means you kill boss first try, and said npc doesn't get summoned. It is the little things that are stacking up that keep this game from going anywhere past a 6/10 in my book.

These summons are so weird, I remember facing this boss with 6 optional summons, 2 of which I have never met. Should have tagged as SPOILER :(
