Known Issues List
Hallo! Lead dev here.

I'm happy to say that as of Version 1.5 (released June 30) all known issues are now fixed. If more pop up we'll issue a patch in the future, of course.

Save games made under Version 1.3, however, may or may not load in 1.5. If you find you're having trouble, please roll back to 1.3 for the time being and then swap to 1.5 after you finish the game. Information here: https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/1484620/view/3365892887507066436

I have a save from the demo back in March 2021 that is right at the end of L1 when Coda gets fired. When I finish it and choose to change my meta data, after I finish editing, Iris asks if im ready to move on to L8. I actually didnt see it said that at first and when the level started got completely lost and thought I missed something since all of a sudden I was in the finals and trying to prove P2W cheated and maybe murdered someone? So I reloaded to try again and the same issue happened, but after some testing I noticed if I choose to not change my meta data Iris correctly moves to L2.

Another thing I wanted to know is if there is a way to start the game as if you imported data. Recently got a new pc and no longer have my Arcade Spirits 1 save and don't want to have to go through it all again right now.
I got the game on itch, and the skip function doesn't work. It can skip through the first part of the first chapter, but as soon as I get to GCF and have to decide who to talk to first, the skip function becomes disabled, even if I have already seen the text and even if I enable "skip unseen text".
Is there a way to load the save files made in 1.2? Or do i have to start everything over?

Please don't load saves from the demo into the full game. It'll, well, you saw what happens.

Sorry, you'll need your files to make the import work. I'm considering back-porting a console feature that lets you manually pick your decisions instead, though.

I'm looking into that. Thanks!

Sorry, you're going to need to start over. This won't be an issue moving forward, at least.
I noticed a glitch in chapter five when you're talking to your rival, the dialogue referred to xem as he even though I selected xe/xem pronouns for xem at the beginning. The exact line of dialogue read, "Hunter pauses, bringing his hand up to his face to chew nervously on xyr fingernails, debating whether to continue or leave it there."

Thank you! Tracking down these pronoun errors can be really difficult and citing the exact line really helps us. I'll put this in the list of pending fixes.
Locksley called my character 'my fair lady' even though my character uses he/him. Thought he might be talking to iris at first but my character responded to it so probably not. it happens in the very first FoD2 minigame, the tutorial one, if you pick locksley, while the explanation for the winter section happens. the specific line is 'hah! we've reached the endgame then. what strategems do you suggest, my fair lady?'
Achievements on Mac version don't seem to be unlocking on Steam (I am running version 1.3 of the game). I do get an in-game notification that an achievement has been unlocked but this isn't reflected on Steam.

Okay, this one is new and weird. We're very reliant on our game engine to handle interacts with Steam -- it's sort of outside of our control -- but I'll look into this as best I can. Thanks.
I've been wondering. I'm playing the switch version and the rewind button hasn't worked at all since I started playing. Wasn't sure if this was an issue or if I haven't played far enough into the game yet.

Rewind gets unlocked after one playthrough. But the skip button is broken on Switch -- along with errors relating to importing your AS1 decisions (missing text with Ben/Matt, missing scene in L4). Those will be addressed in a patch.

quick pronoun mismatch: rival is missing a couple in the line in Ch5:
"[Rival] pauses, bringing /his/ hand up to /his/ face to chew nervously on her fingernails, debating whether to continue or leave it there" with she/her pronouns selected.

Also in ch5 on the friendly rival date:
- "[rival] waves her hand as /he/ waves the thought away."
- "[rival] reaches /his/ hand out for mine"

and typos:
- "but before I can find mine, [rival]'s already handing her over" (missing possessive)
- "I gently put my hand on her, trying to comfort her" (assuming that was supposed to be "on hers")

Sounds like Steam didn't download it correctly. Uninstall and re-install. Unfortunately I can't do much about Steam connectivity.
