Hi everyone. The days following the launch of AK-xolotl have been really crazy, so we thank you for helping us identify new in-game issues.

Starting today, please use this official thread to send your reports. This will help us work faster and more efficiently. Even if we don't reply to every single comment in this thread, rest assured that we will be constantly monitoring it and noting down previously unknown bugs.

You can recieve damage from an explosion after the animation of the explosion ends, normal explosions as well as the explosion caused by the second boss.
Playing on xbox:

1) When I make it to World 5 all of the gems I earn are not brought back to town
2) When the final boss shoots the red and black bullets --- the dodge sometimes does not work for rolling through the bullets.
hey two bugs to report when i hit restart it didn't work until i hit the button three times and when it did work the crab spinning sound wouldn't go away

second one is i opened a chest that spawned near a pathway and my reward went into the door way and i was unable to pick it up feels bad man

I found the error with the red and black bullets. It is related to the item extending the invincible frames. If you roll too fast you are actually vulnerable while rolling. Sorry about the faulty report.

When tabbed out of the game, the inputs are still registering ingame (at least in borderless window mode). I was in the start screen of the game and did something outside and accidentally deleted one save slot with inputs while being tabbed out. Fortunately there was only like 10 minutes on this slot, but maybe also good addition would be something like having to type "DELETE" before really deleting. Currently it just happens with a single click and the save slot is gone.
I just had this issue except it was my main save that got deleted. 24hrs gone and I'd just beat the final boss for the first time - along with maxing out doggo, junkcat & blisstaker rewards. Please please implement a confirmation for deleting saves - this incident has destroyed me and I don't want others to have this issue.
there is a fish NPC you can talk to and i wanted to talk to him i saw the button that says F to talk i presserd it and nothing happend after that i could see the highlight around the NPC but i cant talk to him anymore
i got a new axolotl i pick it up and now is stuck in my hand and i cant put it down
Restarting a run after completing a room but before the chest drops will cause the chest to spawn in the starting room of the next run

Sometimes, grabbing an axolittle can bug out and make you unable to drop it or interact with moat things. Exiting and reentering a file fixes this

Big alligators and little crabs will occasionally get stuck on corners and either freeze in place for ~7 seconds or launch out unexpectedly

Something, I don't kmow what, is wrong with the nunchuck moose enemy. Animation desync maybe?

Flames from the hot pepper item last longer than they appear

Trying to interact with any non-player axolotls/littles is very finnicky, and only sometimes will even show the "pet" prompt

Only happened once so far, but enemy projectiles can get stuck against walls and not disappear. Unsure if they deal damage too.

Having 2 food items on the ground and feeding one to an axolotl will cause the other to teleport to the cooking pot

You can clip adult axolotls out of their enclosures easily by switching between them near the invisible barrier
The shotgun spread of bullets from the elite raccoon doesn't appear to originate from the gun at all.

The elite raccoon can sometimes play the firing animation but delay the actual shot for another second or two.

On the first boss, and potentially every other boss, it seems sometimes they aren't damaged when hit (or at the very least don't flash white when hit)

Breaking the fish's bucket will cause it to be non-interactable but still outline white when nearby

Unaure if a bug, but health is capped at 10 (but shields can surpass this limit. Unsure how much though)

Unsure if a bug, but skill icon will sometimes appear to be completely full but will not play the idle animations to signify it or be activated

Unsure if a bug, but 2nd phase first boss seems to have gained an extra knife in its 2nd volley after defeating it once.

Unsure if a bug, but secret rooms only spawn on the right side of a room

The maniac class (2 secondary weapons) will switch the direction it scrolls throigh weapons randomly (possibly when picking up a new weapon)
Visual bug: the right side of wells in stage 3 render weirdly and seem to default to a stretched-out state

Visual bug: player character renders weirdly when going through entrances. Normal entrances will have the player go through the entrance as normal but render over the raised land area behind it, while secret room entrances completely cover the player.

Explosions seem to deal damage during their full animation, instead of only at the start

Arrows to guide the player to offscreen enemies often don't point anywhere near the enemy, sometimes don't appear at all, and sometimes appear while all enemies are onscreen

Cooking material nodes often don't flash white when damaged

When both the player and enemies are moving, movement feels very choppy. This effect is still present but much less pronounced when it's one or the other, not both moving

Unsure if a bug, but duck feather lays bombs at the end of a dash rather than the start. (Even if intentional, that's a super unintuitive way to do it)

Grenades, at least from the G-Launcher,,can chain react and explode, but any grenade that's been caught in that will play the arming and blowing up sounds twice: once for the chain reaction, once for the intended(?) activation
Shop rooms are bugged.
There are no Items being sold, and you can't exit either (The entrance to the next room doesn't unlock). The sign to re-roll items disappears after clicking it and it doesn't do anything.

This needs to be fixed ASAP.
In biome one, when I get to the item shop there isn't anything to buy, it's just blank and the wooden planks don't explode so you're just stuck there, the reroll sign doesn't have a counter and if you do reroll the shop there's still nothing in it.

Same here :( Lost a really good run from getting softlocked in one
