Did they fix the zoom level after all the Beta feedback?

I remember a ton of beta players complaining about the close zoom distance during beta, has that been addressed in the final release?

No they don't. The max zoom out stays unbelievable close to the ground. They don't listen to the beta community. In the current AOE4 there is no strategic view at all.
If AOE2 is the good role model, why the developer wants to fail with AOE4? The same can be said to AOE4's overall low 4k graphics, a bad joke compared with AOE2.

That is unfortunate that they just ignored all the Beta feedback and changed nothing. At the very least they should have increased the zoom distance in single player and custom matches.

Going back to my backlog of games, will wait to see if they actually start listening to the community feedback or continue to ignore it.

It should be RTS standard to be able to zoom out to see the whole map lol ala capture age zooming

Why are you lying?
They did listen to the feedback and you are able to zoom out a bit more. Just not like total war levels of zoom.
Can you imagine it is designed to be played like that?
Not every game has to be the same.
It's neither a pure battlefield simulator nor a city sim. So there is absolutely no need to zoom out to see the whole map...
Population cap is 200 anyway.
Compare it to starcraft warcraft company of heroes other aoe titles battle for middle earth and stuff like that. Not to games like total war where you have to manage thousands of units...

According to a review on a Dutch tech website the zoom has been tweaked since the last beta/stress test.

Half way/in the middle of the page, there is a (default?) zoom and zoomed out screenshot. They mention it gets misty on the edges when fully zoomed out.

I did not play in the beta, but the zoom seems fine to me now.

I saw one post on here a person saying the game sucks and he refunded because the town center takes up half the screen. LOL, i could fit 10s(plural) of town centers on my screen if i wanted too. If you are stuck that zoomed in try changing the resolution settings.

It's OK but could use a little bit more zoom out and zoom in.
I want both more zoom out and zoom in like how it is in AoE2 DE.
