Stone Knights in crypt
I thought the Stone Knights dont wake up unless you steal something?
I reloaded several saves in the crypt, even started crypt from the beginning. I went through it picking up nothing, not even looting undead I killed, the Stone Knights still wake up..
Also, the Knights are insanely fast for stone statues, I mean faast. Before this last patch they were much slower and we had a chance, not I run top speed and they are right behind me when I turn around.

Bruh...I just finished that crypt literally 3 minutes ago. Killed both knights with spark+mace. Took about 3-4 minutes per each. And no, they are very slow, but yes, one shooting me as well. Just dash/dodge back.

they are slow unless you run. when I run they are sliding along the ground keeping up with me

If you create distance with them, they will catch up by moving faster, I guess it's to avoid excessive kiting. However their animation dosn't speed up so it looks like they're sliding on the ground. I'm sure it will be fixed in 1.0.

Maybe best to add spoiler tag in thread title? Just saying.

They are one of my fav mini-boss fights, at least before the last update., reminded me of dark souls a little but without the better move sets...

Yeah, they run after you frighteningly fast. In the end, I simply kept a stone sarcophagus between us, let them attack, then looped around to get my blow in, rinse and repeat.

my strategy for dealing with the stone knights is carry some arrows and a bow and have them chase you to one of the pile of rocks near where they are stationed and quickly jump on top of the rocks, the knight will chase you but unable to climb the rock since they cant jump and will just stand there agro and you can just shoot their heads with normal arrows or use magic or a 2 handed sword and poke them since it has decent attack range
