Titanfall™

Heads up to anyone getting the "Unexpected parameter "Files"." error.
Drag and drop the file "cam_list.txt" from the "vpk" folder onto the "audio_installer.exe" executable in the "steamapps\common\Titanfall\bin\x64" directory, audio will start to install as it should.

Also, after installing the audio, you'll want to click on "No" every time Steam asks for admin privileges when launching the game, otherwise you'll get the same error again.

Edit: As of today, the servers seem to be fully functional, so you should be able to play normally.

Be sure to drag the cam_list.txt file directly from the vpk folder, and drop it onto the audio_installer.exe in the x64 folder.
I tried the fix by making a copy of the cam_list.txt, putting it on my desktop, and THEN dragging it onto the audio_installer.exe, and it did absolutely nothing. Worked fine when I moved them directly between the sources.

I still get the error pop up, but I wait for it to launch and the audio is fixed. This launch is bugged as ♥♥♥♥ tho, even tho I've fixed the technical problems, I still haven't had a full game since it just randomly kicks me to the menu screen.

Yeah I've been getting the same error, seems like the game refuses to detect the DLC, I did manage to play the training mode though.

If Steam asks for admin privileges to install dependencies, just click on "No" and the game will boot with proper audio.

It's where all your Steam games are installed, just right-click the game on your library, go to Manage and then click on "Browse local files", it'll take you exactly where you need to go.

Thank you! Audio seems to be working fine for me after doing this, though when launching it still gives me the error before the game will start.

We can't do anything about the error box unless the dev fix the game, real shame they messed up big time on what could've been a "renaissance" for this game.

thanks for this. I tried to copy and paste, but i figured out you need to have two windows open one with the txt file one with the exe then you drag the txt file onto the exe and it works.

It isn't downloading, I'm pretty new to pc so I just moved the audio installer in the same folder as the cam_list thing and I'm wondering what to do from there

For those doing it wrong. You need to open the VPK folder. Then open the x64 folder. You should now have two folders open. Drag and drop "cam_list.txt" onto the "audio_installer.exe". I too did it wrong when I first went over the steps. What I had done at first was drag and drop cam list into the x64 folder, and then onto audio installer.
