Unfortunately, I played too long to get a refund. Should've downloaded the demo first, that's on me. Thankfully, it was on sale for 5 bucks. 20 bucks is simply insulting. The writing is so, so, so bad. Downright cringe worthy at times, especially in the first ten minutes. The combat is pretty neat, its the one part i liked. But holy smokes man, the stench of fedora is strong. "If a fate like this awaits us, we will have to change our fate" is an actual line in this game. I tried to convince myself it was just parodying the weird dialogue in older RE titles. I can't lie to myself though, I know deep down whoever wrote this thought they had something great. They do not. I'm sure the actual game itself is fine, but the writing sucks so hard that I just can't take anything seriously. If that sort of stuff doesn't bother you, you might have a good time

Well made game, inspired HEAVILY by Resident Evil Gaiden- which is such a unique experience, but this takes it up one notch higher. While the story is pretty bland, it does get better as you discover the mechanics of the game. Overall, I had fun with it- it's a satisfying experience if you wanna dig into this unique gameplay loop.

An engaging survival horror that mixes tongue-in-cheek tone with tense atmosphere. Fans of the genre will find a LOT of nods to staple games, but, at the same time, YWDHT stands out as its own thing: I did not know that you can feel tension and dread without meticulous inventory management, and close and perosnal combat is a chef's kiss!
Some of the puzzles are too cryptic but do not spoil the whole experience. Give the game a shot!

The writing is bad, the gameplay drifts between a top down walking sim, and a rail shooter without the rails.

What a good game, honestly more people should be talking about it.

It's short nice experience where the more you play and die the more you learn, not only about the combat, mechanic and traps but you also learn about the characters themselves and honestly I like every single one of them for different reasons (Mike you're so stupid. I love you)

I like how you can tell the inspiration for every character, Ashley is literally Jill and Rebecca, Eric is a sweet dumb himbo Chris, Javier is your old Barry, Katherine would be your Wesker and then Mike and Vicent are more their own person I would say. Even the colors match
