Upgrade HaydeeTools up to v1.3.1 for Blender 2.9x.
This tool is for modding Haydee 2.

Many thanks to modder Pooka for the fixes in HaydeeTools!

Hi everyone.
Just updated the addon to 1.3.1

Now it support Haydee 1 & 2 mesh files formats. Now you can import H1 models and export them to H2 easier than ever, just select the correspondig file format when importing/exporting and that's it (flips the Y values of the UV map autmatically).

Fixed the problem in 2.91 when importing motion/dmot (use context.scene.frame_set instead of context.scene.frame_current). Thanks Darak for pointing this out.

Get it from:
https://github.com/johnzero7/HaydeeTools

or use the addon updater to get this new version.

Thanks everyone for their contributions
Enjoy

Models from Haydee 2 in .blend format (for Blender v 2.9x)

llaydee models v 0.2.[drive.google.com]

Includes models:
- Aurora (HD512), including Naked.
- Slashy
- Ranger (Head and arms)
- Creepers (Shansky, and other 5 types).
- Walker V2 (Without skin)
- Aurora (HD512) with skeleton for animations

Installing Addon

Edit -> Preferences -> Add-ons -> Install ...-> HaydeeTools.1.3.0.zip-> Install Addon, then check Import-Export Haydee I / O Scripts
Also, do not forget to check the checked Auto-save preferences checkbox.

Import

1. .mesh - works correctly.
*After import, you need to flip and adjust the UV map to the texture manually
2. .skin - Fixed, is work
3. .skel - Fixed, is work
4. .pose - not checked due to lack of need.
5. .mtl - Fixed, is work, but changes will be made
6. .motion - Fixed, is work.
7. .dmesh - Fixed, is work.
8. .dskel - works correctly.
9. .dpose - not checked due to lack of need.
10. .dmot - works correctly.

Export

1. .dmesh - works correctly (export using other modifiers (except Armature) - not checked)
2. .dskel - works correctly.
3. .dmot - Fixed, is work.
4. .dpose - not checked due to lack of need.

Well some old meshes work on the new Haydee skeleton, but the textures are all buggered, so that should be alright there. I'd like to sort out the Kalvera meshes and give them hands as in Haydee 1 those were separate due to her having robo-arms/hands. Thing is I'm not sure how to get the tools to work with the latest version of Blender for importing the meshes if I tweak around with them in 3DSMax. I tried to import the tools using the preferences but I didn't see anything get added.

I didn't quite understand what and where you import, what exporter / importer you use. There are no errors in the textures, in the editor, when creating materials with textures from H1, you must use (tick) AutoUV if the texture on the model is displayed incorrectly.

I tried to put the Haydee Tools into Blender, but they're not showing up, is what I'm saying.

Did you install correctly? (Edit -> Preferences -> Add-ons -> Install ...-> HaydeeTools.1.2.0.zip-> Install Addon, then check Import-Export Haydee I/O Scripts?)

Ah I see I'm being a dumbass, I tried installing the unzipped folder.

How do you export/convert opened and edited .mesh back into the same compatible format? Does it save correctly any associations with armature, weight painting, etc if there is any?

Is it applicable to HD2 tho

In terms of working in blender and exporting to an intermediate .dmesh file - the same thing. In terms of importing .dmesh into the H2 editor, it is different.

I mean how it is different in comparison to 1? What changed?

The intermediate file format .dmesh, .dskel, .dmot, .dpose for import has not changed.
