The waiting time in the lobby is too long, it needs to be reduced.

Yeah, there's always that one player who isn't upgrading or changing anything, yet still can't manage to press ready.
The timer in lobby is long to allow players to respec if necessary in case their character is taken etc. One cannot plan that their character will be taken so that long timer is a way to help someone if that is to happen.

Once everyone readies, the timer immediately drops to like 10 seconds.

Being able to choose between Family/Victim side was a HUGE mistake that will lead to this games downfall. It needs to be random so we can have shorter queues without all the family-only spammers. Naturally no one wants to play as a victim.

as soon as the lobby is full they need to reduce the timer to 30 seconds

Again. That would mean players would leave immediately if their character was taken. As I said above, the reason for the long timer, is so players can respect if necessary. 30 Seconds is not long enough.

Players need to learn to Press E and ready once they are done, which most dont.

I had people not get the character they want, wait until the count is down to 15 seconds and then ditch.

I agree, just remove the readyprogress overall. In addition you could choose your char beforehand.

respec before queuing, problem solved not everyone wants to wait in you to make up your mind on load out

This shows you dont understand. You cant Respec before queueing because you dont know what characters will be taken once entering a lobby lol. Like for real, have you played?

There are plenty of times I've entered lobbies wanting to play Connie, Connie is already taken and they have her at lvl 10. After this happened a few times, I dropped Connie entirely for a Meta Julie build, I still run into lobbies with Julie's who dont want to swap. Im not going to play a lvl 0 victim (or killer for that matter) so I need to respec mid lobby.

You cant predict what characters will or will not be taken until you enter the lobby. This is why the lobby timers are longer, to give those people a chance to respec. The ultimate solution is for people to ready up when they are actually ready.

:) Not allowed bro.... they want to punish you for leaving lobby if cant play who you spec'd.. now they dont want you to respec if assigned someone you have no points in....

This is the current logic and I love you for the sarcasm cause its this thinking coming from people that make no sense lol. Thank you for understanding.

EDIT: To be clear, cause I want to be sure I am, but this is me praising you, not insulting you (as its directed at the people who ACTUALLY think this lol). I re-read my statement and thought maybe it could be misconstrued.
