CATch the Stars is a wonderfull relaxing Puzzler in 50 Levels.
Lead a little cat through the Night and show her the Zodiac Signs in the Nightskies.
But first you have to create the Zodiacs by moving Stars to the right Position.
You can move the Stars by a simple click. They are moving on Lanes.

Be careful, if a Star touches another Star on its way, you have to replay the Level. The Levels are going bigger and more diffcult the more you solve. New Mechanics including to make the Levels more challenging and interesting.
But don´t missunderstand me. This Game isn´t very difficult, but varied.

The Graphics are really nice done. The Price is absolutly fair for what you get.
But my personal Highlight is the wonderfull Soundtrack from Tatyana Jacques, who also did the wonderfull Soundtrack from JIGSAW PUZZLE TALES. She is such a talented Piano Player and i love her Music very much. If you buy CATch the Stars, you should also buy her Music. Absolutly the 0,79 Cents worth.

CATch the Stars is a wonderfull chilling Puzzler Game, perfect if you want to have a nice Time, getting your Head free from all Problems that stress you. For a short Time, but you and me, we know: Every Minute counts.

catch the stars is a charming cross between hook and sinkr, with some always unnecessary cat stuff throw in. you're basically creating constellations by moving stars and removing lines, similarly to the games just mentioned.

there's no timer or timing involved, can't click a star while another one is moving, but stars can't touch each other, so a certain order has to be followed. a mistake resets the level and there's no undo, but it's not a difficult game, won't be an issue.

50 levels unlocked one by one, mechanics include stopping points on the lines, so stars won't reach their destination in one go, and switches or gates or something that change after every move and can only be crossed in one position (click the star when the symbol is a square). then there are colored stars that move together if you click either, but they don't have to reach their respective goals at the same time and left alone act as regular white stars.

it's a simple game done well, good presentation with soothing music, but I would've liked more cutscenes, not just an intro and outro. takes about an hour and has all the basic necessities, windowed mode, resolution options, separate volume settings (available while playing as well) and a dedicated level selection screen, but no level numbers on-screen. not much else to say, good stuff, might even have some educational value if you're into astronomy, so go and check it out.

- Requires you to think a little bit
- Satisfying once you've completed
- Cheap

Negative:
- Doesn't really have any instructions on how to play so the first couple of puzzles were spent pressing random stars to figure out what to do

Expanded Review:
Catch the Stars is a minimalist puzzle game where you need to conjoin stars together to form constellations. The sound track and backgrounds of the puzzles are very relaxing and it has cute illustrations of photographed cats that are displayed at the start and end of the game once it is completed.

When first playing the game, I didn't see any guide or anything on how to play the game so the first couple of puzzles were spent randomly pressing stars until I somehow managed to pass the puzzle. Then around puzzle five or six I figure out the stars can not touch other stars otherwise it restarts the puzzle. Once I figured it out, I breezed through the puzzles until it came to the diamonds and squares that were on some of the lines the stars would follow.

A few games of messing with the puzzles, I realised that the diamonds and squares were symbols for whether or not the star could continue following the rest of the line. If there was a diamond on the line, the star would stop and it would reset the puzzle back to the start. If there was a square on the line, the star would continue following on the line. It sounds pretty simple once it's been explained but as there are no instructions on what the diamonds and squares mean within the game, it just leaves the player wondering what the symbols are until they figure it out.

In my opinion, even without the instructions it is still a good game, it just requires the player to think more but sometimes that could also be a reason why some players might not want to play the game because they don't want to think.

THUMBS UP TO THIS GAME
This is a short and sweet puzzle game where you move stars to create constellations. There are 50 puzzles in all with 9 straight forward achievements earned by playing through them. There are no instructions so you'll have to figure it as you go, but you'll get the hang of it pretty quickly. The puzzles are fun, the music is serene and the price is great at $0.99 before discount. Overall, it's a fun puzzle game.

THUMBS DOWN TO VALVE
For reasons that have nothing to do with the game itself, Valve may not award a completionist badge for this game, even if you get 9/9 achievements. Some folks get it, some folks don't and Valve has no explanation as to why.

P.S. It's not a bug in the game, all of your stats are there. According to the discussion boards, it seems to be a stupid money decision on Valve's end that limits profile features in some games. Not the devs fault. I would recommend this game.

took me 1.4 hours to complete the game (all 50 levels plus 100% of the achievements (which you get from just playing the game))

overall, a lovely game, cute astomsphere, really good puzzle mechanic!! the only thing i would say was a Huh, was when you started the game, there arent any instructions on what to do? XD which is fine, i feel anyone would be able to pick up on what to do quickly but i just thought that was a little funny!! but maybe thats part of the mystery and fun of the game :D start it out as a confused little cat and find your way back home :')

overall score for time spent to 100% it: 9/10, not too long, not too short
overall score for difficulty; 9/10, just difficult enough where you have to restart levels, but not to a frustrating level where you angrily give up and just look at the guide

This game has very peaceful music, adorable graphics and it was calming going through the puzzles and creating the constellations. It was sad to finish the game but it was a lovely experience. Thank you!

Cute short little fun puzzler. Move the stars without getting too close to other stars. Very relaxing music. Wish they had cat and stars emoticons from the game.

Uuuhh. Cute little (emphasis on "little") puzzle game that essentially boils down to "click on the things in the right order" and it's. Well, a bit too basic to recommend. The game introduces a few twists and mechanics early on, like, 5-10 minutes at most early on, but then... doesn't do anything else with them. Levels just get more parts but they don't really get more complex or difficult, and the game just kinda goes on and then ends. For like, a dollar, I'd hardly complain, but it feels like you could play just those first 10 minutes and get the whole experience, even if the game goes on for a lot longer after that.
