Found online - Open up Nvidia control panel, and under 3D applications - select or add Crash Bandicoot 4 then under the list of settings that can be changed - enable FPS Limit and set it to your native monitor FPS.

didn't work for me unfortunately... I'm going to refund the game as I can literally not progress, really sad

I verified files and restart the PC. Ok for me.

Have you tried launching it after it crashed? Happened to me on the very first start up, not the second time around tho.

I don't know what the problem is, I can't even boot Crash 4 at all. I tried a bunch of methods and nothing worked.
Almost all Unreal Engine games crash a lot on my PC. I've tried a lot of solutions, nothing helped. My first crash in Crash Bandincoot 4 was after 9 minutes of playing. Then after 20-60 minutes. Last thing that i did was run CB4 exe in compatibility with Windows Vista Service Pack 2. And it helped. After that i played more than 5 hours without crashes :NekoHappy:

Windows Vista lost support 6 years ago, without service pack you had even older version, maybe the original launch one, this one is your fault, expect more and more not working games.

I don't have Windows Vista, i have Windows 10, i launched game in COMPATIBILITY with Windows Vista. My fault that it helped me?
It also helped me to reduce crashes in Saints Row 2, cuz it crashes a lot too. I wasn't even able to finish a mission. With that "fix" i can play for hours before crash

That doesn't make sense.

It makes perfect sense.

You change compatibility mode by accessing the Properties of .exe files
Some users achieve better stability in the game/application by doing this.
