No Rest for the Wicked

No Rest for the Wicked

Controls
Seem CRAZY wonky. I will auto target something and then my target lock will just disappear and my character will attack off to the side of what I was targeting. It's INSANELY frustrating. I come up to an enemy...target lock them...go to attack and my dude just starts swinging wildly at air and my target lock is gone somehow.
I'm already NOT GOOD at these types of games and this is my first souls like I've ever attempted and it's truly pissing me off.

I do not have the time to spend 'getting good' at an insanely difficult game especially when the controls are not doing what I'm thinking they should be doing.

Please -
Work on PC mouse and key controls (no I don't have a controller, it is what it is. My target lock is still janky af and it's infuriating)
Make a 'easy' mode that people won't have to mindlessly grind new zone after new zone beefing up their character. No, I'm not good and no I'm not putting in part time work hours to 'get good' when I have other things going on in life.

Look, I know I will catch hate from the 'it's a skill issue' crowd that love beating their heads against a wall for hours at a time...I'm not that guy.

I love the art, I love the direction and I'm ok with some difficult stuff but this is beyond difficult for me and it's really ruining my experience. In large part because I can't figure out why this stupid target lock DOESN'T ACTUALLY SEEM TO WANT TO LOCK TARGETS?

I'm trying here...really. But this isn't fun.

8bitdo pro 2 controller is my go to. Programmable and two extra buttons on the back you can map how you want. This is one of those games where only a controller makes sense. Similar to arcade sticks for fighting games and a steering wheel and pedals for racers.
