Unable to sprint?

I know that you press shift to sprint (like in pretty much any game theese days) but for some reason I just can't?
I tried configuring the sprint button again but that too does not work.

Or is this just the speed you can run with? My character and horse are already fairly quick on foot, even if I do not sprint, but it doesn't consume stamina... so it's likely not an autosprint.

Anyone else have this issue or know how to solve it?

There's a sprint, but you just start out slow and the sprint is just a marathon slow jog...

Level up and gain skills for movement speed or reduce or even completely remove penalties for wearing armor...

Even the horse has better breeds that can sprint faster. You just have to find them or slowly breed them till you get the traits.

Yeah but that still doesn't answer the question that you cannot sprint in the game And there's lots of bugs with sprinting Auto run And capacity weight I thought all these things were fixed That they seem to be the same This is without no arm on And your ability weapons not really going down Feels No effort I told

Sorry durability Not going down on weapons And stamina not being consumed when swinging weapons No idea Unless there's a second for difficulty but i'm on normal I think
