Nice! Thanks for the effort!
*Resolved*: I currently get missing executable. I tried to uninstall and reinstall from scratch, but no change.

Edit: Hmm. I tried to check and uncheck the steam play compatibility option now for the game (it was already unchecked) and then it updated again and installed the Linux version.

I had that before, Steam sometimes doesn't realize correctly that there is a Linux version now. Obviously, uninstall/install doesn't solve it, only adding/removing the checkbox.

"The game has an incredibly robust commentary and annotation mode; if you are finding the mysteries and metaphors impenetrable, you might experiment with this mode, which many players have enjoyed."
I just came back from another session playing Strangeland with listening to the commentaries and annotations. Both are just a ride for itself, a journey into the game and the thoughts behind it which would be inaccessible for a bunch of players (like me :D).
While i needed a bit more than 5 hours for the game alone, now i play the game already 10 hours in the commentary mode and thinking about everything said and written in it. So thank you for such rich and deep commentaries and annotations :strangeraven::happymeat:

@crabel: Good to know. If others have the same issue, I'll pass along the info.

@City Cannibals: Thanks so much. It's always great to read a kind review. Also, I was looking at your user name history and laughed -- it's like a mini-guide to SL. :D

Thanks for the port, I'll get it as soon as I come home from vacations!

Two things I need to humbly mention though...
Primordia would be great to have on Linux, too, and...
anything (read: everything) from Wadjet Eye...

We have had a Primordia Linux build forever, so it's just been a matter of getting WEG to upload it. With SL we can upload it ourselves. I'm hoping that the SL experiment will get Primordia up too.

Thanks for thinking of Linux!

May I ask if it actually helped the release?
(Though I'm very happy about Primordia release no matter the reason of course!)

We actually just got set up to upload it ourselves. :D But, yes, I think all the gentle nudging from fans made a big difference in this actually happening! (That, and James's tireless work ethic.)

Did that work out?
To the extent that Wormwood is now porting WEG games?

Yep! James is porting the back catalogue!

Can't put enough hearts here.

:signix:

Well, and my money where my mouth is, of course. :)

PS: Don't know if you'd like to, but I guess gamingonlinux.com could be interested in an interview. Shall I ask them?

That would be awesome! James deserves a lot of recognition for his work here!
