There a good place to find all the timelines of books and things in a chronological order for 40k lore?

I'm having a hard time finding a good source of "timeline for books and other media" of wh40k.

An actually good one though. I found a few random ones but... They seem very incomplete?

The Horus Heresy books in order, but after that there's not really any coherent stuff? It's mostly fluff in army books and the expanded library as well as campaigns GW ran in the past. Your best bit for a lot of stuff is just reading patches on Lexicanum.

Things got pretty upended when Cadia went boom and the timeline finally moved forwards a bit, but I don't think there's any specific reading order for that.

I think that if you don't want to lose your mind then start with Horus Heresy's black library chronological order. You can try to find more "accurate" variations of it depending on the purpose, but a good start that's almost always uncontested is book 1-4 of black library's chronology.

However you won't ever find a completely accurate chronological order because Warhammer 40k media isn't always chronological, it's sometimes overlapping and there is canonically a lot of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ going on inside the universe.

Do yourself a favour and avoid reading all but the briefest overview.
