Furthermore, I had found a possible explanation a while ago, I just forgot to mention it :P

This could make sense, if for example the game's graphics engine works in a way so the overlay can't hook onto it.
Strange though, they did make the game Steam compatible (princeofpersia.exe uses steam), I guess fixing the overlay was too much work.
So I'm wondering how people get these screenshots onto the hub.
Steam Overlay Fix
Start the game and minimize it.
Open task manager and find POP2.EXE
Right click on POP2.exe in task manager and go to details where you can find PID number of POP2.EXE.
Open Win+r and insert the line(Example if you instealled steam on Local Disk C then type:
“C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\GameOverlayUI.exe” -pɪd -manuallyclearframes 0
Copy the above path exactly of GameOverlayUI.exe and insert the PID number in place of and run the game.
After that maximize game and you can see the steam overlay is enabled.
Repeat the process each time because PID of the game changes everytime you launch the game.
