While the game looks complicated in reality it's really easy to understand how the concept works and what you wanna do and most importantly "how" ;)

There's no explicit images, so there's no nudity... However, the game is build aroung building a successfull brothel house to satisfy many fetishes, so clearly is not for kids.

You start slowly, with one building and one girl (refered in game as "Hime") and 3 simple "plays" (sexual acts) and pave your way forward with hard earned money to hire more girls, expand the house and research (unlock) new fetishes for clients "plays". The girls' "technical skills" are honed and "plays" are set up in the store. Raise "customer ratings", learn "new plays", and make a certain amount of money within a set deadline. The goal of the game is to earn money!

If you're a fan of tycoon games, touhou fan and wanna try something spicy with the adult theme, you can definetely try this game out ;3

So fair warning: this game isn't erotic. This game definitely has erotic/sexual tones, but it is not a game meant to arouse you.

Second warning: The english translation is a little iffy, but if you're the kinda dude who looks up NSFW Touhou content, you'll probably know what things mean once you turn on the English TL it becomes easier.

On to the actual review: Soap of Royal Road is a game where you're a bathhouse tycoon. You're tasked to complete a mission (usually pay off a debt) by creating bathhouses and employing various Touhou characters to perform "services" for cash. You can invest in the girls but its also important to manage them (they get tired out!) as well as find what they can best do. For example, you can give a bathhouse a service to do some badonkahonkadojobs if they have large baguppies (think Urumi and Kasen). There are also Touhou sorted by category, such as members of the Scarlet Devil Mansion, or redheads, or those who are Youkai. You get bonuses by managing your shops well with these synergy bonuses and making sure the Touhou in the bathhouses are all performing the same roles.

The game is fairly simple, but the difficulty comes in assigning your limited per-turn resources alongside the fact that your girls can and will get tired out. The fun comes from finding the synergies and seeing your round-to-round income improve by finding what each girl does best and what traits you get by investing into them. The "skills" they get count as unlocks, so its a fun little thing for completion's sake.

The graphics are simple. I'm not expecting anything too thorough, but the Touhou sprites are cute and everything else is generic. Sup Shakespere, tho.

Overall, for a budget release, this is a very entertaining and well-thought out game that's worth your time if you got a bit of the H brain and you're a Touhou fan. It's also a riot in calls with people who also are of the same mindset. If you want a slightly stressful spreadsheet simulator, look no further.
