Farcry loading screen freeze fix

Just to let those of you out there know that there is a problem when trying to run farcry on highest settings. My game would get stuck as i load, and when i exit the game with task manager windows would say that the game is not responding. A fix for this is to change the lighting (if you have it set to very high) to high.

Game wouldn't even launch for me, till I set lighting to high from very high. So thanks, it's all working now.

The game has a feature where data gets specially compiled for radeon graphics cards at first start. this can take like ten minutes or more, depending on how fast your cpu is. first level-load after that clocks in at a little lower (five-minute-ish). both of that can seem like the game is hanging even though it's actually just decompressing and rewriting some of its texture/terrain-data. especially the first start to a black screen can be a little unnerving. :)

did not work for me. tried dropping my setting to low even. game just doesn't work.

Started as Admin, let it run for like 20 Minutes, Size of game dir did not change by a single byte... still got the blackscreen.
This annoys the hell out of me.

To make things clear: the Blackscreen isn't necessary a "screen", but rather a black "window". No sign of anything loading. Task Manager states FarCry4.exe takes up like 25% cpu (4 core, makes kinda sense) and about 166 MB RAM. If it its compiling anything, It's nowhere near the game directory for me.

Tomorrow (after release) when I'm going to work, I'll give this game about 8 hours to compile.
