I just got this game the other day. It's pretty cool in my book. 2,3, and 4 are now on my wish list.
Anyway, I realize this game is like 14 years old but, it almost seems as though I'm the only one who plays it.
This forum is the most quiet of the ones I participate in.
Anyone out there? :steamhappy:

Still has a few diehard adherents and some modding is still going on. Truly one of the best games of all time. 2 is superb, 3 gets into a lot of time filler, 4 is just like 3 and I don't have 5 yet.

Man if the rest of them are as good or better than this one, I'm sold on the whole franchise.
I guess the forum is pretty dead.
I'll stick around a few more days just to see if it picks up.

I just started playing through it again for the first time since release. I remember playing it way back in 04 and being blown away. I also played the demo like crazy prior to release (I even seem to recall there being TWO demos, each featuring a different level).

Thats cool. I'm fairly new to the FPS genre. Started out with Borderlands 2. This one is a WAY diffrent pace. Silence and stealth are a MUST and I'm hooked.

yeah, i'm creating a campaign i thought out in my imagination as fun too. Best game out of the series imo

there only exists one senior who knows EVERYTHING about the editor and i thank him that i know now alot about the editor.

Isn't totally dead for sure

The forum is not quite dead, if you read the dates, however you do have to remeber how old the game is, so while people do re-play it once in a while, there is no real need to check the forums on a regular basis as there is nothing really new happening game wise to discuss.

All the fixes are on the forums and pretty much by now all the topics of discussion, have been, well, discussed lol

"This game" is much more than "this game". There are many many user made levels and mods out there that are just as good as the parent. I have 60 of the best.
