funny.
- Prince of Persia Sands of Time: Best environment and puzzles, bad combat system. However, puzzles used to be the best, but now no one likes them.
- Prince of Persia: Warrior Within: Great Visuals.. The story traps you in a loop, just like the "Deathloop" game. You will enter the present and past castle timelines repeatedly and solve the missing puzzles. Puzzles are fair for the modern day.
- Prince of Persia The Two Thrones: The PoP series became easier by sort of their release date; newer ones are easier ones. The Two Thrones doesn't have hard puzzles or combat system, but the story and environment are great, and the stealth mechanics are satisfying.
- Prince of Persia 2008: A reboot game, nothing challenging in it but very satisfying to play... It's some kind of reboot for Sands of Time. Instead, "Farah" is not your beloved this time; she is a donkey, and your beloved is named "Elika." But, like in Sands of Time, you will fight with her father in the game as the main antagonist.
- Prince of Persia Forgotten Sands: I saw someday someone made a topic on Reddit and asked why PoP Forgotten Sands counts as a bad PoP game. Then a Reddit user replied very funny, saying: "In the world where AC Odyssey counts as a successful game, PoP Forgotten Sands is a masterpiece. https://www.reddit.com/r/PrinceOfPersia/comments/gazu33/what_are_the_reasons_behind_forgotten_sands/
The game is great, but it's just become easier, like other modern games. The story happens between the Sands of Time and the Warrior Within. One thing I love about this game as a Persian person itself is that in Prince of Persia: Forgotten Sands, there are many creatures and dialogues that are told in Persian language. Like in old Hitman games, in any location you traveled, the people spoke native, but in modern games, unfortunately, developers became lazy, and when you play inside any location, everyone just speaks English.

P.S. I have been a PC gamer my whole life. Back then, it was really painful to see that you couldn't play God of War games as a PC gamer. So the Prince of Persia series was the most similar to God of War.
However, the PoP series is not even close to GoW, not in combat quality, nor story quality, nor bosses. GoW bosses are much more variant and much harder. But at least it's what you get. You shouldn't compare games until you're able to enjoy them.
"Wheelman" is another example as an underrated game from 2009 that was made by Ubisoft, and the protagonist is "Vin Diesel". When I used to read negative user scores, I saw that many people complained about it because it's not as good as the GTA series. Who says every open-world game with cars on the street should be compared with the GTA series?
Wheelman was a game very similar to the Driver Series. You are an undercover cop, just like in Driver Series, who travels to Barcelona, Spain, and enters different gang cartels as a skilled driver and work with them, then make those gangs to kill each other one by one until you destroy all of them, just like the slang that says, "Kill them with kindness."
Wheelman is another great nostalgia game that I wish there was a way that I could buy again and revisit it in 2023, but unfortunately, it's not for sale inside the Uplay store or elsewhere anymore.

P.S. So many people are waiting for the AC series to come to Persia. The AC series has traveled to different locations, such as Middle Eastern ones like Istanbul Turkey. They traveled to Europe, such as Italy, France, Britain, and Greece. They traveled to the American continent and Egypt as well. However, it traveled to China and Russia only in its indie games like the Chronicles series, and AC Mirage will be in Baqdad, Iraq. AC Origins is the beginning of Assassin's Creed bloodline, and AC Odyssey is the prequel of Origins.
Only in AC Odyssey it comes to Persia in the "Legacy of the First Blade" DLC, and we will visit a Persian father named "Darius" as an honorable man who created the first hidden-blade, He is the father of a kid that will marry with the AC Odyssey protagonist, and then they will birth a child and send him/her to Egypt.
It means, This kid is half Persian, half Greek. Finally, this kid will be raised in Egypt, which is the protagonist of AC Origins, and he/she will be the one who begins the Assassin's Creed bloodline.

nice feedback, generally agree with your summaries. Forgotten sands combat is just way too slow but platforming isnt bad
Both stories try to show a fight between you and yourself (your present vs. your past), but Nolan failed in Tenet to deliver the concept to the audience, while Prince of Persia Warrior Within could do this successfully.
First the Prince thought his enemy was "Kaileena", but then he realized that she(Kaileena) is fighting for her own sake just like he(the Prince) is doing the same thing for his own sake. Then he realized his main enemy is not Kaileena, but it is himself.
Finally, the PoP Warrior Within story can prove how the "Tenet" movie failed because Christopher Nolan couldn't deliver this concept clearly, but for someone who has played PoP Warrior Within, the story will be delivered properly.
P.S. Nolan has made some good movies, but they are not enough; he deserves to make more great movies. What he has in his mind is appreciable, but his weakness is that he usually can't show it properly. Just like in the "Tenet" movie, where he tried to show that your main enemy is yourself and you are your own enemy. but, unfortunately, audiences won't be able to receive the message. Now, by playing PoP Warrior Within, you will receive this message clearly. Therefore, PoP Warrior Within can be a film course that shows how and why Nolan failed in his Tenet movie.
Except in Sands of Time you fight against your own father. Farah's dad was long gone in the game. The place you siege at the beginning of the game was the Maharaja's palace and her home. Farah, the dagger and the slaves you took from that place were meant to be gifts to an ally sultan of your father. Diplomacy and ♥♥♥♥. Loses the all the magic when you think about it that way. xD

Should just sell the IP to more capable devs.
