How to switch to DirectX?
After loading the tutorial section of the game, i've immediately noticed high GPU utilization. With Afterburner's OSD i have figured out that game is rendered with OpenGL. After quick search through internet, i've found out, that game has DirectX mode, which provides prettier graphics, and in some cases higher performance. But I can't find the way to switch display mode. Does the steam client not support DirectX?

Yeah, you are right about visuals. I've turned down graphics settings a little bit and locked fps to lower value. At this point I've got an acceptable level of thermals and noise

Hello, did you ever figure out how to change the Runescape app to use DirectX?

Directx is only applied if your current gpu cannot run the OGL version which is the standard.
