Sin Unofficial Patch - New music, uncensored textures, bug fixes, cut content

This patch changes the game's scripting to better play music, replaces censored textures, and fixes a few more issues too. It is available for both versions 1.11 (retail) and 1.13 (Gold):

-Restored Quantum Destabilizer secondary mode
-Restored deathmatch versions of Intro and Bank
-Replaced censored textures with the originals
-Redone music scripts, added unused tracks
-Changed mission computer formatting to be consistent
-Fixed some objectives updating incorrectly
-Fixed secrets using the wrong sound
-Fixed being unable to progress in Area57 after returning from Biomass
-Fixed manumit playermodel not fully taking effect in Area57
-Envelope now removed from inventory on new episode
-Scuba gear now removed on new episode instead of when ClearInvetory is called
-Scuba gear no longer given on spawn in certain maps
-Added missing Underwater Base dialogue
-Fixed scripts not recognizing very hard difficulty (skill 3)
-Fixed missing intermission screen when entering Geothermal Plant 2
-Fixed guard station not being destroyed after revisiting Geothermal Plant 1
-Fixed text on some computers not being visible
-Fixed alarms sometimes working improperly
-Extended Docks1 dialogue

To install:
1.13 - Extract the contents to ‘[Steam install dir]\Steamapps\common\SiN 1’
1.11 - Extract the contents to ‘[Program Files]\Sin’ or wherever else it was installed

This is a temporary beta only compatible with 1.13. Do not install if you currently are playing the game, as it invalidate ALL saved games.

The version of Sin released on Steam is 1.12, it has different audio system, Bink video support, updated netcode/Steam server browser support, and censored textures. 1.11 was the last version of the retail release and is also the one available on GOG.

It should be somewhere in the install directory or CD in a subdirectory called ‘2015’ or possibly ‘data’. If you don't actually have your own copy of the expansion then I cannot help you, as I will not be providing the file myself.

you can just get sin gold off of gog.com. Not sure why they don' have a sin gold on steam now since this appears to be recent

To play the game add "+set game 2015" to Sin's launch parameters (without quotes). You should remove it when you want to play the original.

It seems it's OK to leave this in the launch options because you have the option to play the original game in the Game menu.

That shouldn't be happening if it was installed correctly. Did you run the batch file or install it some other way?
