POOP!?!
What's the best way to farm poop? I've breed animals but they don't seem to produce much or often. Sometimes I feel like I can get more just running around an island. If anyone has found success, drop some knowledge.

FECES get generated with time If you are on an island, you may have to be on the island for a week or more. Also try the areas where the animals spawn. Usually find half a dozen, but its a bit hard to find many.

Thanks for the tip. Ill try hanging out on one map for a while and do some more testing. Would be cool to have something like the Phiomia from ARK to up the annie.

if you have conveyor belts on the ground going into the large storage container, automated furnace or automation factor animals will often get stuck in the intake and that will generate some, but it is a much less amount than if you are breeding cows or buffalo and collect from the pin area.

I think I've come up with a solution that works a lot better than anything else I've tried. I made a plus-shaped building with 5 floors. I honeycombed the floors with walls. Put steel boxes at the center of each wall in the center cell. Then put an absorber on each box pointing out to the four outer cells. After that, I breed 100 chickens. Then I stored them on Monster Prisms. I put 25 chickens in each of the outer cells. It only let me put 24 in the last cell because I hit the animal cap for the map. I capped the outer cells with roofs so the chickens didn't climb on top of each other and escape World War Z style. The final touch is putting a chair right in the middle of the center cell with the boxes surrounding you. Then wait. The longer the better. Just go AFK for a while. I waited about 4 game days and had about 45 poops in each box. It will vary sometimes because the chickens aren't hitting at the same time. Hope that helps anyone trying the same thing. The saltpeter is flowing now no prob.
