Stuck after picnic event

I can't get anything to trigger after the picnic which starts the discussion of a vacation. I'm on day 281 with 2017 relationship, $32 096 in my wallet, every single item in the store purchased across all tabs, I'm CEO and the girl is Vice President, etc.

The only achievements that I don't have are You're Fired!, Intern, Office Assistant, Well Deserved Break, Ume Blossoms, Tasting New Cultures, Count Your Blessings, Family Reunion, and So, you're a gamer?

So I'm just missing demotions at work or the vacation event itself. Do you have to get demoted to a lower position to take the time off for a vacation? I have gone through weeks like this, including Saturdays where it's supposed to trigger, but I still have nothing happening. I'm also not sure if there are supposed to be other cars for sale yet, but I haven't had any more up for sale since buying the first.

To start the "Vacation" event, you must complete the Christmas event.

• Buy Christmas decorations;
  
• Buy and dress up the girl in any Christmas costume;
  
• Wait for the night.

Demotion and vacation are not related in any way, for vacation you need to meet Lien, for this start the Christmas event.

Currently, there is only 1 car in the game, in the next update we will add 4 more cars.

To earn achievements with a demotion as quickly as possible, you can start the game by saving to a different slot just for this, so it will take less time for you to demote, because your starting career level is only 3, and you now have 10.

I was just curious. I too have just had the picnic, came out of nowhere and I am just curious as to what actually triggered the event...is it just time played?

The picnic event has two triggers: over 80 days and a car purchase.

And I celebrated all the holidays even before buying a house and a car. There was a picnic, but there won't be a second holiday after buying jewelry and dressing up? And then I bought and changed, but there is no holiday or vacation. Do I have to start over?

The entire storyline can be completed, even if all the holidays were passed a long time ago, the Vacation event is probably not triggered for other reasons.
