I looked up the player count numbers for a reply to another post and they are not good. Dishonored 2 had a peak concurrent of 22,000 while Redfall only peaked at 3,800 when accounting for increased Steam playerbase, this game did 93% worse than Dishonored 2.
This failure might be the final nail in Arcane's coffin and that's a good thing.

Microsoft is $2.26 trillion company meaning they can write-off any losses and probably get a tax rebate to boot curiosity of the US taxpayer.
Reality is Microsoft needs to stop meddling in the operations of their game studios. They're impatient to get a return for their $7.5 billion purchase to appease shareholders.
Microsoft have a long history of releasing half-baked stuff much like Windows 8.x and 11 fiasco.
So you think the people not buying the game are wrong, so in effect, you are defending it also having not played it. Can all those negative reviews be wrong? Should I spend £70 on a game that looks bad? I don't think so. People who have done seem to be regretting it. I'd be pretty stupid to ignore all those crap reviews, since many of them are about performance issues as well as gameplay.
