amount of money
so, I know a lot of people are going to say "delete the save file" but hear me out... it takes time to get back to the end of the current content, and when i finished up to the first wall... I bought everything there is... the second one had costumes and such... so i bought those... and now there is the new powerwasher(i completed without it at all) so now i want that... and even with saving everything these few extra jobs, I had enough JUST to buy it... I think i have like $50 leftover... I really dont want to just restart... but i want the new powerwasher and its attachments so i can see how fast it will take me to get it done... I am contemplating doing it all over... but i just dont know...

I chose "B" simply because if im gunna wait for more levels to clean anyways, may as well just do all the levels again to afford the final washer and all its attachments, and saving the rest for any further purchases they might add. Gives me something to do while waiting and since its working towards the goal of getting the final washer, it's more enjoyable than doing freeplay imho.

Though if we could sell the old power washers and old attachments, this money problem some folk are having wouldn't really be that much of an issue in the first place.

I've just finished the Helter skelter after I reset the career mode and started again. I'll probably start again in free play until such times as they release new levels.

I stopped buying the cleaning fluid and the sprayers because I found that the cost/performance benefit wasnt worth it. Wider angle sprayer + close up + slowly walking will clear up large areas in very little time. It gets a bit repetitive, but you can basically go faster than the cleaning solution sprayer and it doesnt keep costing you money.

again, this was NOT a problem... it was once the new sprayer dropped(i havent bought fluid since before they added the extra long) that i noticed "hey, i dont have enough to buy that... also... i wont have enough to buy it all..." but either way, i restarted it

Whether it's the soap or buying a lot of cosmetics that's the problem, it's still the same problem "You blew too much money on crap you don't need" As it stands, you have enough money to buy: Every washer, every attachment (this includes the soap nozzle), one suit color, one glove color and 2-3 of each kind of soap, if you go for 2 of each soap you could probably buy a skin, but let's be real you won't be using anything other than the best power washer, which presently doesn't have a skin. Imagine it like you have a pile of stuff that you're never gonna use, but you paid for it. So you have it, but won't use it and are wondering "Why don't i have enough money" It's like buying 100 bottles of cooking oil, 15 aprons, a dozen spatulas and wondering why you don't have enough money to buy food to cook. TLDR; Yes, you spent too much money on useless fluff. Edit: moved the TLDR.

Very bad take here. It's a game. One of the biggest premise in games is to try to get all the unlockables. It was an oversight by the devs to not include additional ways to get money to unlock the new things. Hopefully this will be addressed in the next month.

Not a bad take, manage your funds better.

you cant manage funds for something that ISNT EVEN THERE YET... regardless this game is in alpha and while there are many ways around this... it shouldnt be that WE have to sacrifice and start all over because we didnt know about something that DIDNT exist... i can very well just play with the base one until i get the new one... and i am in my new save... we just shouldnt be locked out of stuff if we accidently bought this, or bought that

I still think a very simple solution to the money issue is to also offer cash in the time trial mode with increasing rewards for hitting the different medals. If a game's cash is finite, you should be able to buy every item with the funds the game allows. It does not matter if the items are "worthless" I should still be able to get everything with the funds I'm provided with. Managing your funds better is only really an argument in a game with infinite money, which this game is not.

Oh yeah, you didn't know it existed, despite the tab that you could select which was missing the power washer. It's called planning ahead, nothing good is ever free. If you can't be bothered to save money and not buy all of the soap or a bunch of skins you won't use, that's on you for being a spendthrift. Not me for saying you should have known better, cause you really should have.

Managing your funds is something you do with limited funds, not with infinite funds, if you had infinite funds you wouldn't need to manage them to begin with. As i've mentioned countless times across various repetitive threads of the same nature. This game is still in early access, you simply can not, expect there to currently be enough funds for every item in the game. Now if the game were to be fully released with no updates planned for the foreseeable future and you were still missing 60,000 dollars worth of items, yes this would be a valid complaint, as it is not finished, you knew what you were getting yourself into, manage your money better. I gave a different comparison in a different thread, it's like if you have 6000 dollars and plan to buy a console worth 5000 dollars, you have 1000 dollars to work with. You have no right to complain if you go to the store and buy 600 dollars worth of games and 400 worth of accessories, then decide to buy you a tv for 1-2000 dollars. You are now solely responsible for not saving 5000 dollars for your console. Let's make this more realistic for those that "Didn't know they needed to save money for something that didn't exist" So the Playstation 5 is in fairly short supply despite the high demand. You save up 6-700 dollars for it but the sites don't restock, you end up spending this money on other things, be it games or food or bills. Is it Best Buys fault for restocking after you spent your money? Or is it your fault for not holding onto that money? "Oh gosh, there's this empty space where the new washer is supposed to be, we've had a few weeks worth of blogs teasing that the new washer is coming... I've got all this money... Guess i'll buy 300 bottles of soap and 6 skins for my one power washer. *gasp* The new power washer... It's so expensive, how dare they not give me enough money after i blew 5000 dollars on other crap"

But to further elaborate on why infinite money is not a situation in which you would need to manage your money. If you can just rewash the van and get X amount of funds every time, why would i need to manage my money? I could literally just repeat this one job until i'm filthy stinking rich and buy everything before moving on to the rest of the game. No managing required.

look, this is last time i am responding to you... even counting on the fact that yes, there was another tab that you needed to save for, sure... and then buying the multiple gloves and skins, sure... but the soap? WHEN AT ONE POINT YOU NEEDED TO USE SOAP TO GET RUST OFF... because they had an oversight... and also... lets use your example... lets look at this in the same way as in our case, you are told there is a new console coming out, but no price mentioned, and based on everything you have had happen up to this point, you have no reason to believe that you would only have 10,000 total to work with, as well as the console being 5000, console 1 is 0, console 2 is $500?, console 3 is 2000, and the new console is 5000, so with this logic... thats 2,500 leftover. each soap i think is 20? or 50? all addons is based on each console... console 1 i think is like 200ish?, 2 is about 500, and 3 is 1k(im giving wrong amounts i know.) so with all that... thats 1700 there... thats 800 leftover and lets say that one use item(soap) is 20... again... which you 100% needed at one point in this... ended up being a total of roughly 500... so 300 leftover... now... based on everything i see just here... good luck getting any of the attachments... let alone more than 1 without the soap... and as was said multiple times throughout this... we all know its in alpha...and are continuing to play... but stuff like this is what the dev's need... not just "oh you're dumb for not saving up" so they can fix it... and by fix i mean just add more levels to make more money... planning for something when you had to work around other ways anyways(aka buying soap) DOESNT make sense. anyways... have a good life being an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and not pay attention to the fact the this is just a way to HELP THE DEVS... not look for people being an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

There is enough money in the game to buy: every washer, every attachment, one glove, one suit and two to three of each soap. Edit: So your point is that you want to make pointless posts telling the devs to do the job they are already doing? Oh i understand now.
