How to report a bug
Hey everyone!

I guess you found a bug and want to report it. If you wish to discuss your bug with other players first, please use the dedicated "Tech support and bug reports" sub forum. To report the bug to dev and QA, read on:

Information needed:
  • Platform (Steam / Xbox / PlayStation / GOG / Epic)
  • Is this bug reproduceable? (unknown, sometimes, always)
  • How serious is this issue? (minor, major, crash)
  • Where did this happen? (which map/menu)
  • Headline (One sentence)
  • Full description/steps to reproduce this bug (i.e. what was the last thing you did before it happened, does it only happen under certain conditions, etc.)
  • Game Version (either go from the main menu to Settings > Game, or from gameplay to map > Game, and switch on the “Game Version” option to see the version number in the bottom left corner of your screen)
  • Screenshot/video of the issue, whenever possible (instructions further below).
  • Your zipped “Saved” folder (instructions further below).
  • Your dxdiag, if you are experiencing a performance, graphics or crashing issue (instructions further below).
  • Your email address or alternatively your Discord/Steam user name, so we can contact you in case we need more information.

If you wish to add information after you have created a ticket, open the ticket URL, then click the “Edit” button on the right side just above or just below the ticket, enter your additional info in the “Notes” field, and click “Submit”.

How to attach files:
  • Click “Browse” at the bottom of the bug ticket to attach your files.
  • To get your zipped “Saved” folder: press Windows key + R key, and paste %localappdata%/WayOfTheHunter, then press OK. Right click the “Saved” folder, select “Send to” > “Compressed (Zipped) folder” and save it somewhere easily accessible, like your desktop.
  • To get your dxdiag: press Windows key + R key and type "dxdiag", then press OK. Once the dxdiag is done, press "Save all information" and save it somewhere easily accessible.
  • To capture screenshots/videos: Press Windows key + Print Screen to save a screenshot in C:/Users/[your user name]/Pictures/Screenshots, or Windows key + Alt + R to start and stop recording a video that is saved in C:/Users/[your user name]/Documents/Videos/Captures.

They do contact you through e-mail as I have received them several times with acknowlegments that they received it.
