When Sea Power crashes, it takes Steam with it.
Noted that Steam disappears from the System tray.
A few months ago, the game was (also) crashy, but doing a reboot after a crash and then launching without running anything else generally helped.
That is no longer the case.
Not running any AV besides Windows Security/Defender.
Running TSRs are nvidia app, GoG Galaxy, Steam Client, Citrix Workspace, Logitech Gaming Software, Virtual CloneDrive

Thank you!

Is there any update on this issue?
Thank you
I tried launching some scenarios in Sea Power today, with the expected crashes occuring thereafter.
After looking at my System log in Event Viewer, I noted a warning at the time of the crash:
Windows successfully diagnosed a low virtual memory condition. The following programs consumed the most virtual memory: Sea Power.exe (18892) consumed 5398667264 bytes, cmd.exe (6468) consumed 2501816320 bytes, and cmd.exe (12056) consumed 2496483328 bytes.
I checked my paging file size on my C drive, where Sea Power is located, and noted that I had the settings set as:
min 2938 MB
max 5876 MB
I have 16GB of RAM, and have not had an issue with anything else thus far, but Sea Power IS a pretty huge and complex game
I cleared up some space on the C drive, set it to system managed and rebooted
Sea Power now works fine. All scenarios, even really big ones with carriers, work fine. Was able to load, exit, load, exit, load, exit, from several scenarios in turn today
As I said, the Devs may have more to add - and I welcome their input - but for anyone else having this issue, you may want to check if you've set your paging file size manually
-Chris
I think I may have found the fix: too-small manual paging file size
