Well, that's true. This game starts after the prologue. When you meet Obrian and get to Lost Lake. Not early. But in my opinion, it's worth the patience.

I don't need a "because reaLISM" answer when my point is clearly that driving a slow bike is not fun. Why did they think it was a good idea?

Your bike is slow for about the first 20 minutes of a 50+ hour game. It's part of the tutorial while you're learning the controls. Seriously not that serious.

Well, you asked and you got an answer.

If you don't like the answer, or if you're the opinion that the answer given is not quite what you wanted, then you need to learn how to formulate your questions more precisely.

Anyway. Why do you even bother hanging around this forum if you're no longer interested in this game?
They won't make the bike faster just because of you feeling inconvenient with the current speed.

For me, the bike's velocity felt quite fitting and i barely saw other people complaining about it as well.
Therefore it still seems to be a you problem only.

Maybe just accept it or move on to games having faster bikes?

Game is done, development cycle has finished, very highly unlikely to change.

Strangely enough I was looking through mods and found a mod to make the bike go faster, and the author more or less indicated that making the bike go to fast caused issues, so to answer the question, it might be a game engine limitation or going to fast caused bugs or who the freaker knows.

However this game is not about the bike, it's a side mission to the freakers.

The bike only has to be fast enough to outrun the different zombies, including those fast moving ones. Imagine not having a bike out there. Plus the upgrades and nitro, even better.
