Want to purchase when Denuvo is removed
I was just about to buy this game, as I love Arkane Lyon, and then saw this requires Denuvo DRM eula. Good lord why? Here i am waving my hard earned dollars at you, but I cannot give them to you if it is going to poison my machine. Shame on you Bethesda, you hinder honest folk spending honest money on your product instead of protecting it or us.

I've been playing games with Denuvo DRM for as long as its been a thing and my machine definitely doesn't seem poisoned or have any issues.

I get that people like to hate DRM because the internet tells them to but i wouldn't even known it was present for what its worth.

Great. See you then!

As an Arkane fan you're surely aware that Dishonored 2, Death of the Outsider and Prey all used Denuvo? It will likely be removed one day but you could be waiting a while (1-3 years).

What a dumb comment. Denuvo is a joke since games will get pirated anyway. So basically the ones who pay get to play the game with worse performance than those who pirate it. Which is ironic to say the least.
Yeah, this is heart-breaking. I'd have bought it already, but Denuvo. Yeah... naw.

Gotta love the irony of a DRM tech, designed to protect sales, driving sales away. If only Arkane had the balls/clout to stand up to Bethesda on this.
See you in 5 years.
You can wait for Christmas discount, by the time they will fix the game completely.
won't buy it until Denuvo been remove.
My PC wont support it.

When the game is cracked, then they can remove the protection, but until then the game must be protected, let the freeloaders suffer a little, pathetic misers.

Any DRM is pointless. Company spends x dollar amount on the protection yet it can cause issues. If someone doesn't want to buy it, they'll wait. If someone wants to buy it they'll buy it when they feel the cost is justified on the experience.
Even when Denuvo gets removed if you're on a high refresh rate monitor with a fast GPU you will likely have issues until they sort things out.
The frame skipping thing with the mouse movement has been addressed but if you intend to play at 120hz/144hz you're likely going to have a bad time.

Only way I've managed to get it remotely smooth is running at half refresh rate (72fps) and I'm on a 3080Ti.

Dishonored took 2 and Prey took 3

I will personally be waiting for the game to drop to a proper price, come out with a stable patch and lose the Denuvo also, as the same tactic greatly improved my perspective of Prey
I purchased all of those on gog, and will never purchase a game with intentional malware in it
