Steam Install - Community folder not there

Hi -
I have downloaded a mega pack of liveries and followed the instructions on where to find the "community" folder. but its not there in any of the options. I had a friend who also purchased from steam and he has the exact same thing.

I have searched my instalation drive for "community" and the only location i find is this.


Drive\steamlibrary\steamapps\common\microsoftflightsimulator\packages\fs-base-ui\html_ui\icons\community


there is a bunch of SVG files in there.

normally I would just go yup and do it. but this game has enough issues without adding to them. anyone else had this ???

updated - Having read a bit more i found the following which helped me to resolve this issue.

go into MSFS2020

Select Options
Select General
Select Developers (on the left, at the bottom)
Turn Developer Mode on
Look for the new menu in the top left (the text is very small)
Select Tools
Select Virtual File System
Select Watched Bases
At the bottom of the list, it'll show your Community folder location

mine was Drive programe files (x86)\community

continue as the video shows . don't copy over the mega pack folder. open it and sellect all the sub folders.

I downloaded an airport from Simshack.

Found my community folder. Do I put all 3 files in it? It has 2 bin files and 1 exe file. Or do I just put the bin files in it?

Nevermind. The .exe is an installer. Made it easy.
