Are DLC performance issues fixed?
I've read in reviews that DLC has introduced some performance issues and on Reddit that the game still has stutters caused by lack of preloading shaders. I'm thinking about buying the game and DLC so could you pls tell me if those issues have been fixed?

Nope. Just tried and it was terrible. Stuttering every 2 seconds, freezes and major fps drops. Shame.
Nope, really sucks atm being on ng+10 and fighting bosses at less than 20 frames is really a mood killer. Even the base game content drops frames.

If you know modern game dev, expect weeks or even months before they release a patch fix.
the stutter got worse today for no reason its the only game doing this. I went to see in monster hunter world in 4k and work fine no fps drop there so doesnt seem to be a pc issue

doing the solutions shown in this reddit post helped me https://www.reddit.com/r/eldenringdiscussion/comments/1dk2tct/an_indepth_analysis_and_diagnosis_of_elden_rings/

i also deactivated statistics/ overlays specific for elden ring (like riva tuner)
my performance is stable since applying the changes and i can even play with ray tracing again

i would recommend trying the the control panel changes shown in the post if you use an nvidia card.

I assume you all own NVidia, I haven't had any issues so far on my AMD build.

It's pretty bad, next to unplayable for me, wild variation to the frame rate, even at places that doesn't make sense. What's worse, it seems they screwed the performance of the main game as well after the patch. Also waterfalls just destroy the fps in the dlc.

no issues here at all. turn off raytracing if you have that on...
that said, I have a pretty beef pc (ryzen 7800x3d and Nvidea 3080RTX
They never will be. They never fixed the performance issues in the base game
The dlc just came out and there have been no official patches yet. So, no.

I have an rx 6700 with r5 7600 cpu and before this update i was at 60 fps always and after it got to 28 fps at low setting (which a day before was 45 at medium idk how this even happens)

There's some very weird texture pop-ins still; people in this thread with prior issues on the base game are prob the minority. I have had no issues in the base game since release, but as soon as the DLC came out this texture pop-in / shader pop-in bug started happening. I don't know if I'm the only person getting this, but I'd wait for a patch if you're concerned about performance.

I'm on a Ryzen 7 3700x with a 3060Ti.
