EDIT: Seems like verifying my files fixed the issue. Hopefully this works for anyone else too.
The message will pop up once ongame start in the menu,m but after that no more.
Since the DLC does not have any achivements you are not mmissing any of those if you are concerned, but you will not be able to summon help in boss fights.
I personally wasn't planning on help anyway my first time around :)
my game was running at like 20fps because Easy Anti Cheat was freaking out about a .dll that belonged to "Direct Folders" (an app ive been using since 2005 that lets you have folder shortcuts in a mid mouse drop down menu for navigating windows easier)
on uninstalling direct folders Elden ring is running smooth at 60 fps max settings again.
EAC probably freaking out about lots of new stuff with this update that it isnt supposed to.
FPS is bad too now. lol
