seems like misinformation. Nexus says last update was may 29th

Nexus shows the mod updated last in 2023. Testing shows the mod does not recognize the DLC version of the game causing an error message and a CTD

The following post is from the mod's discord, which is probably what the OP is referring to.

"The DLC has been out for half an hour. The Seamless Coop rewrite has been patched to support it - however, it still needs to be tested.
Also, some features and bugfixes from older versions are still missing from the rewrite, and they're big enough to hold off the release until they're implemented.

Your support is highly appreciated, especially in the past day. I'm putting all the efforts I can manage to release the mod as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience."

He shouldn’t and he won’t. FS has already stated that they are not at all opposed to that mod. It even sounded like they may experiment with it in future titles. Though if they go that route then the future games will be a lot more difficult to balance full coop.
