When turned off- you have no input latency, but have reduced performance in the game.
When turned on- you have input latency, but have increased performance.
Also, there is a description of this option in the game setting when you select it.
input lag is much higher you will notice when losing to 1v1 in cqc
And this option already exists in BF2042 :)
Yea, it's pretty much noticeable for me when this option is turned on. I personally can notice the difference. You get more FPS, but still you feeling that something is wrong with the game. Losing to 1v1 becomes very much noticeable. So, I always have this option disabled.
Basically it has the same functionality as it has in other Battlefield games, but we will see how it actually works in BF2042 when the game releases.
