New Super Form Or Hyper Sonic?

I’d love to see Hyper Sonic in the game but if we cannot get Hyper Sonic i wouldn't mind a new super form. Thoughts?

I agree i’d be nice to make the hyper form canon but if we get a new super form im still happy as well.

We get a new super form every few games. Kinda tired of it. I'd like to see a modern version of hyper, both to see how it stacks up to super in cutscenes and just to see how it looks in 3D.

Since knuckles and clearly the master emerald are involved from what we saw in the short animated video, I wanna say that theres going to be something to do with new chaos energy or maybe just hyper sonic? Iizuka has made it very clear that he doesnt like the form and states that it wont be coming back, but idk man. I dont think hyper sonics coming back but somethings definitely happening with the master emerald.

hyper sonic was given up long ago straight after sonic adventure actually, sonic adventure 2 scrapped it, every time sonic goes super to fight something in space he should be dead. the only reason doomsday zone could happen was cause of hyper sonic, super sonic could not breath in water or space, hyper sonic could, then they scrapped the good stuff with hyper sonic and went with the super sonic can breath now option. they don't want to bring up the past they can never beat

Hyper form isn't canon, but these things are canon:

Chaos Emerald = unique abilities and Super form. Time travel is possible.

Master Emerald = unique abilities and Super form. It can seal anyone inside the Master Emerald and power down the Chaos Emerald, if the user wants to.

Chaos Emerald + Master Emerald which both gives Super forms = more power and abilities.

Time travelling is with Time Stones, not Chaos Emeralds.

Do you have any source that Sonic 06 is not canon? Just because the event didn't happen, doesn't mean the Chaos Emerald doesn't have time travel power. They might not know it has that power, since the event didn't happen.

Knuckles never uses the Master Emerald to seal anyone inside, that doesn't mean it can't seal anyone. Tikal was the one to know about that power.

Mecha Sonic appeared in Sonic 2 also, so he is canon. The last time Mecha Sonic appeared was Sonic 3 & Knuckles or Sonic & Knuckles, then Eggman focused on Metal Sonic.

Sadly that isn't how canon works. Being a good or bad doesn't isn't the deciding factor of what is and isn't canon.

Absolutely. Sonic 4 was removed from the canon not because it's bad (especially compared to the Mega Drive games) but because it was retconned with Mania. On the other hand, plenty of other games that deserve to be part of the canon, such as the Sonic Advance trilogy and the first two Sonic Riders games, are not.

Whereas there are plenty of bad games in the series that are unfortunately part of the series' canon. Heck, even Sonic Boom Rise of Lyric may as well be canon to the entire Sonic Boom TV series as it's a prequel to everything the show sets up.
