Multiplayer Party

Is anyone interested to play this game in Multiplayer ?

With these basic rules:
- Character solely created for Multiplayer (lvl 1 - Silver, no imported loot).
- We play the main story, mainly ignoring sidequests, but do some farm if we cant beat the bosses to proceed further.
- MP Character is not used for Single Player when other party members are offline (just play your SP char if you want, you can export and make a copy, but do not re-import that char back into MP, MP char remains intact)
- Offline Trading is allowed (it will just save time for all if we do our "merchant quest" and trade offline).
- No duplicate character types (so we can share the loot we dont need). We share "good" items, the others are for grabs to sell to merchants.
- In general no cheats and stuff that just ruins the game for others.

Aim: Play through both campaigns: Silver, Gold, Platinum, Niobium (at least Silver :d2invoker: )

PM me if interested + write your "yes" or "no" comments so others can see if anyone is interested.
P.S: I'm Noob in Sacred :x Never actually played Sacred in a proper MP fasion, sure would like to try. I've finished main story long time ago, but not the underworld.

Hi, forgot that I wrote this thread long ago.

Is it even possible to play MP, now that there is no official server support for this game ?
ccotunai Jan 15, 2014 @ 12:02pm
yes, through a LAN connection set up with something like Evolve. There are two other programs for it.

Hamachi and Tunngle, they are called
Ragnaman Jan 15, 2014 @ 12:24pm
Hmm, yes I know of Hamachi.
I guess it is only possible via using these 3rd party softwares ?
Which one of those is most convenient ?

i do not know, honestly. i havențt played multiplayer yet. hamachi and tunngle are the most used, but i heard goodthings about evolve. i hear there is a guide to setting up a multilayer server with thee things, but ițm in college session and havențt had the time to invest so much time in multiplayer, what with the hectic schedule :/

but, yes, the official server is down so these three softwares are our only choice

i can't play until late february, sadly :)) my game broke down and i have to recover stuff from my parents' laptop. Also, exams and vacation where i will not have an internet connection :(

Oh, i was wondering who is sending a friend invite, I ignored it because i didnt know anyone by that name.

So we have 3 people here ?
Not sure If I can play as well at the moment. I think we should decide on a specific day and time when we would play up front before trying to set up 1 2 3 LAN virtualiser apps.

i'm not free until the 23rd of february, sadly :( once my college exams are over, i'm off on vacation without a proper connection.

on a side note, what time zones are you in? :)) because i have a feeling we live in different parts of the planet. Romania, East-Central Europe here
