Still too early to know. Time travel event with Emit Relevart apparently had nothing to do with the Businesses & Hobbies expansion pack.

I wonder will this time travel dlc, assuming it happens, have teasers of "features" that Sims 5 will totally have.
I am getting bad flashbacks of Into The Future Sims 3 having ingame teasers of Sims 4, hyping up emotions, despite us getting more broken and mindless sims since ever in it.
But hey, maybe some upcoming competition will get them working something grand, tho i doubt it.

Competition is pretty much the only thing that'll force EA/Maxis to make Sims 4 better. Competition is the counter to any ongoing monopoly. So we're pretty much relying on inZoi and Paralives to save this series.

Even if they don't, well at least we'll get "potentially" better options of a good life sim game.

I don't think Sims 5 is happening. I guess there are other games entering the human simulation niche, and EA doesn't have the talent or will to compete, and would rather make sports games. These other games may or may not pan out...

The Sims 5 coming is currently not a question of when, but "if" even if The SIms 4 does not make dlc forever. Maybe by the year 2034 EA will finally decide to entirely stop selling all dlc including even expansion packs and all kit packs. Instead, they might look for other ways to make more money with The SIms 4 besides only just making new dlc from that point onward. The Sims 4 does not necessarily need to constantly make dlc for the game to be kept alive and interesting contrary to drug addicts who think they need to continue buying drugs because a chemical in the brain tells them to.

I've been thinking of copying the time machine from Sims 3 for Sims 4. Put the same options on it + the NRASS options.

Yeah. But not for me. I'd have to look at the C# in ILSpy, figure out the logic, make similar animations, export the mesh and the dlls... then translate it all into Sims 4. I'll die of old age before I figure it out. easier to explain gravity and cold fusion.

They already released it. Sims 1 and 2. You can travel back to when playing Sims was fun.
