Stop game's crash , HOW TO:
Hi to everyone,

Like many people, the game crashed for me every time.
To resolve the problem :

- Download 446.14 from nvidia here :
https://www.nvidia.com/en-gb/drivers/results/160022/
Don't need to use any DDU just install this driver.

- Restart your PC
- Remove all the shaders in steamapps\common\Detroit Become Human\ShaderCache

- Start the game
It will take many minutes and after that it will work perfectly fine

For the information , i've set the game to 60 fps and vsync off (i've got Gsync)

My config :
9900k
2070S
64Go RAM 3000 MhZ
2 screen 144hz 1080p

I used DDU, wish I'd gone to your post before hand.

In any case, installing 446.14 worked for me too (RTX 2060).

Thanks!! Playing on 2080s with i7 8700k and game was freezing within 30 seconds of starting. Rolling back to 446.14 fixed it for me.

8700k+2080super+gsync+144fps limit, 446.14 is much more stable than 451.48.

my game still crash, using latest nvidia 451.48 drivers on an nvidia 2080Ti on Windows 10.
fix it or give my money back!

Thank you! I had already downloaded the driver but it still wasn't working.

Btw, it didn't work on the first time because the game recreated the shaders, but all I neeeded to do was delete them while the game was already open.

this doesnt work, my game still crashes with a 1080ti. I rolled back to 446.14, made it all the way to the hostage negotiation, screen freaks out, crash, VK_Error device lost. great port

thanks!!! Did it for me! :)

I've downloaded the driver, installed & directly started the game & it worked for me. I didn't restart the pc & delete shaders.

This worked a treat for me. 2070 super over here, latest Nvidia drivers killed it obviously. Deleting the shader cache was the missing component that made it work.
