Windows 10 and GTA IV

anyone been able to run steam GTA IV on Windows 10....advice?

I am running the Windows 10 Tech preview as well and I have not been able to run the game properly. It ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about me not being signed in but it won't let me sign in. Then it starts a new game and does not make it past "Daddy's back baby!"

Being the game is from 2008 and for windows XP it should be no surprise that it doesnt work.

I think I had it working on Windows 8...I'm sure I had it working on 7. But ya...whatever I guess.

I've been trying to play it on windows 8 but it wont run :(

I'm guessing it's probably an issue with the Games for Windows LIVE implementation on that system. See if there's a way to patch/upgrade that, or if that doesn't work even see if there's a way to roll it back (but I'm doubting that)

For me, GfWL says there's no internet connection (there is, I'm posting this..).

I assume that's the reason I get no further than Social Club login (even if I choose 'Play Offline').

GUYS! You should NOT install GFWL included with game!!!! Go to Google and find Games For Windows LIVE - Marketplace and install that, works like a charm on Win8.1

Mmmm, most try. I don't have steam version don't know if its diffrent
