Little Jacob's chopper never shows up in final mission

Tried multiple times, chased Dimitri's chopper in the boat while it fires rockets at me, Little Jacob never shows up. What's up with that? I watched on youtube and his helicopter should fly in as I come up on the bridge. So Dimitri gets away and the mission fails. Yet another Rockstar mission wrecked by a stupid chase scene.

Well I switched to the alternate ending mission and on that one it bugs out when you make the jump to the helicopter on your motorcycle and it won't let you pull yourself up. So you fall and the mission fails. I read that you have to turn off all your cpu cores except for one because this old game can't deal with the processing speed on those missions. Why does this game have no issues on modern PCs except for the final part of the final missions? I'll try one more time tomorrow with the cpu fix.

You can enable vsync to fix that heli issue. Also, it's not just that mission. bikes are pretty much unridable without vsync. which makes the whole of TLAD unplayable.

How can i turn off all the cores except one?, i was trying to do that mission but as you say, it's impossible to get on the helicopter.

Just get FusionFix and cap the FPS to 30.

Open task manager, go to details tab, write click on GTA IV while it is running, click on Affinity, and you will see the cores with the boxes checked. Uncheck them all except one, like Core 0. Do it when you start the mission. I finally did get on the helicopter and finished the mission.
