I realized something in the Trailer. You maked an innuendo to Resident Evil 3 which was cool, but you should work on the Movement for the Cutscenes. The Swat and Policemen moved like Counterstrike Characters. If you make the movement better overall i think people will liek it more. just a suggestions :) looks promising so far.

Thanks for the kind words.
In the game itself, the animation movements are smoother.
Now all the efforts are devoted to the implementation of the game itself, if we have time, we will definitely change the trailer.

You can swap the camera to button "9".

I have some suggestions that I feel will make the game feel more scary and make things maybe nicer (in my opinion)

1. Some doors are hard to open, and you have to press E many times time to open them
2. Ragdoll psysics are very wild, I killed a zombie and it flew across the room lol
3. FOV Slider would be nice
4. Swap the quit and exit buttons so that quit only applies for closing the game since I hit exit a few times thinking it would close the menu (very minor not important)
5. The weather is INCREDIBLY loud even when volume is lowered alot
6. It's odd you lose your gun when you get to the mansion and have to pick up a dead cops pistol (very minor detail)

(All my opinion, the only ones I thinks are 'important' are 1 2 and 5)

I'm in agreement with #5, 6, and 7... I like the running zombies though

You want to change the option in the menus for when you wish to exit the Menu to say return do not have exit/ Quit which are close enough to be mixed up. You may also want to put a confirm message on the quit to desktop button.

My suggestion:

  • Remove monster glitch. The monsters are halfway through the doors
  • Leave the doors open after cinematic or after reload game.
  • Replace exit/quit text by : Exit / Main menu
  • when we go on map or menu controls, please add an "Esc" event. It's very slow to click the close button
  • The car driving is strange because you change the act without show your arrival.

***SPOILER***
when I got to the bomb, I hadn't entered the room with the father. So the time to get in, watch the cinematics, pick up the object and get to the bomb was very difficult. I think there's a problem with the script.

You translated the word "Exit" in German to "Ausfahrt", but it should be "Ausgang" or "Beenden".

I think you should remove the car driving section at the start.

I'm not far into the actual mansion but it seems you've created a decent game with a good atmosphere, but that start will put people off and mostly make negative memes about their car flipping or ending up in a ditch. Also the city buildings are really ugly. If I didn't like this genre so much I would have stopped playing before even getting to the mansion.

Also you really should try and add proper controller support ASAP. Big screen mode makes the game playable with a controller but it would be so much nicer to have real support.

You've obviously made a game targeting a niche market, yet most fans of 3rd person horror games will not want to use keyboard and mouse, and not everyone knows about steam adding automatic controller support through Big Picture, or wants to go through the effort of changing settings outside of the game (such as the sensitivity).

I think you should make 3rd person default when entering the mansion.

Mostly it's just some usability issues I think you should do with sorting out to attract a wider audience.

Good luck, I'll play more tomorrow but so far I like what you've done.
