That would be amusing. Wine would be an interesting base type. I wonder what the actual 3rd base is going to be.
It's wine, they already talked about it in a devlog (17 i think?). They go into the mechanics of it there too, but a quick summary would be that your potion doesn't automatically recover after going through a skull zone, but instead needs to go into a healing zone to recover over time.
To answer OP, I don't think it's implemented yet. There's a few features they've been working on that didn't make their way into the beta.
