if I want to play GTA3 without mods, there's no reasons I started this discussion.
Solution was found actually. You may use dual OS installed in your Steam Deck.
You can have tutorials on youtube and there's several video about have both SteamOS and Windows at the same time.
I am currently trying to get this to run on the steam deck. So far the it's not looking good. I can see the intro but when I get to the main menu the screen is black but you can hear the button prompts. You can also launch the game from the blank menu but all what you will be able to hear is the starting cinematic. The only way I was able to get that far was by using the proton experimental version.
You need to add a command into the launch command to run DLL's but other than that. Desktop mode is needed to import the mods and as long as you know how to do all of that, you should be good and it'll run flawlessly 100% even with frame limiter off and set to 60fps.
