Game not working after the patch? Try latest version of RE Framework

The most recent patch introduced a major bug that prevents many people from running the game as it crashes after start-up. I think owning specific DLC triggers it, but I'm not sure.

Praydog updated his RE Framework tool with a fix for the issue.

Try this to fix the issue:
- Download RE8.zip from here: https://github.com/praydog/REFramework-nightly/releases/tag/latest
- Extract it to where RE8 is installed
- Delete the openvr_api.dll and openxr_loader.dll files as those are only for using VR functionality with RE Framework
- Run the game and it should now function as normal

Capcom introduced new anti-tamper code with the new patch that checks for modifications made to the game's code and then prevents itself from running if any is detected. I could be wrong, but I think the issue people are facing is due to that new anti-tamper code not working correctly.

I tried the work around of disabling my DLC which didnt work. This file worked to get my game up and running again. Thank Fluffy!!

It does nothing for me, still gives me the error of "Sorry, something went wrong. For solutions please visit: bullshitsite"

Disabling the Winter's DLC did nothing for me. But installing the new RE Framework made the game work again. Thank you so much!

I've tried placing the code from GitHub like they said, but it still does nothing besides add the framework menu that also crashes within 20 seconds of the game opening. Is there anything else I can do to fix this?

The nahimicService service is conflicting with the game. Uninstall ArmoryCrate and uninstall Realtek software on my PC effecivley removes the nahimicService services which were causing the conflict and now the game runs without crashing on startup

thank you for your fix ... it worked.
though you don't have to delete anything ... you can just go for (services app) from there just stop nahimicservice and you can start it and stop whenever you like.
to find (services app) just go to your windows search.
note: fluffyquack fix didn't work for me but paramonos fix did work <3
