[SOLVED] Game is freezing

FIX : Disable Nvidia DLSS in the graphics options then restarting the game

Hey guys,

My game is freezing hard when I just get out the burning chamber and I get this error message:

And there is also an hidden error message just behind, in the background

I tried to :

- Update my drivers
- follow this fix https://steamcommunity.com/app/391220/discussions/0/1744479698797237755/
-check the temerature and the % of use of my GPU & CPU: they even dont reach the max
- check the file integrity, close Steam, launch steam as administrator
- uninstalling and reinstallling



But the problem is still here

Motherboard: msi z390 gaming edge ac
GPU : MSI Duke RTX GeForce 2080 Ti oc 11 go
CPU: I7 9700K
RAM : Corsair 4x8 DDR4
OS: Win 10 x64
SSD 1to
Monitor Acer Predator 165hz

atelann The same thing happens to me as it does to you but my card is a GTX 1060, I fully meet all the requirements and I get the same thing over and over again arriving at the same point mission arriving at the incineration plant I hope they fix it quickly

I update my thread with the details and the fixes that I tried
I recommand you to try the fixes that I tried since it's worked for some other persons who don't have exactly the same problem

Guys, great news: I fixed it by disabling Nvidia DLSS in the graphic option then closing the game and starting it again and it works

Can't seem to make it to the graphics settings before it crashes.

Edit - there is a .txt file in the game directory that has the settings, but neither "0" nor "1" on the DLSS setting makes any difference, it still crashes.

Did you try the others fixes listed above ?
If it's not working, you should stop trying to not reach 2 hours of play and subscribe to the discussion linked since there are some guys who are really determinated to make it works in this linked thread

Im getting this error, Dx12-ErrorCode: 0x887a0005. If i disable DLSS it works.
Updating my WIndows 10 to version 2004, ill report back if that helps :)
