Denuvo 1 machine activation limit
What does this actually mean? If I ever change my hardware to the point where Denuvo no longer recognizes it; i'm boned?

If I ever want to play it on a different pc, I'm boned?

If this is the case i will not be buying the game.

Edit: they just changed it on the steam store. It literally said that it had a 1 machine activation limit. Think about this before pre-ordering the game.

May we know what the activation limit will be?

he already answered that in another thread, it's still 1 machine activation limit but they just hid that information now

So I was right, it was a listing error on the grounds that whoever posted it wasn't allowed to yet. Absolutely ridiculous. This also means that they're aware people will hold off pre-ordering so ya know, better hide that info for now.

As much as I hate 505 Games and would expect no less from them, his post history does not reflect your claim. He's copy and pasted the same comment he made here two more times. Care to point toward the thread you're talking about?

Edit: a word

Honestly I'm gonna take a guess and say that we're not getting a clarification. I'm just going to stick with the 1-machine activation limit and see what happens after launch.

and let's just hope that stays that way. dont give us this damage control speak then actually implement it at release.

Still can cross me off from their potential buyers' list.
Antares 2 Mar, 2020 @ 5:04pm
So you're foisting Denuvo on your fans and you're charging full price for a half year old game? Pass.
Bacon 2 Mar, 2020 @ 5:26pm
I like how they don't mention that the activation limit is non existent. They just say the listing of it was an error. Because there will be an activation limit and they just don't want to advertise it.

Great, now please remove it entirely because a lot of people don't want to pay to have malware installed on their systems.

Hello, 505, the standard price in Russia for AAA games is 2000 - 2500 rub.
For example, Cyberpunk 2077 comes out on September 16 and its price is 1999 RUB. Doom, RE3, RDR 2 have same price. Fix this.

This is not a thread to discuss pricing, lol

Such a shame that you chose to use Denuvo 1 activation or not. I was really looking forward to buying this on PC having held off PS4 version for an enhanced experience.

Cost yourselves a sale adding this awful system to your game.

As soon as we have an update on the machine activation limit we'll let you know.

It would be funny if someone started a thread about who refuses to pay for Denuvo infested software, with OP listing everybody by username and sending a message to the publisher saying, Good job people, you lost this many potential buyers.
