Had the most epic win

I went in blind and got to the last boss of the first run. I've played rogue likes before so I at least had that to carry me through. I picked the berserker guy, the healing chemist, the tank knight, and the dps illusion sword guy.

I burned everything I had on that boss. One by one my party members died but I knew I had a few aces with berzerk guy. Finally, berserk guy is at death's door with everyone dead. Cutscene happens telling me its ok to die. I see "Forfiet" in red, but "Continue" up top. Hm. I hit continue.

Pops me back to the main screen and I have one turn to down a boss's 120+ hit points with a guy at death's door. I get two cards which are auto crits dealing 70 damage each downing the sucker. Absolutely incredible feeling, especially after you get the cutscene telling you that you weren't supposed to make it there on your first playthrough. If I had done ONE wrong move, I would not have beaten that fight.

Fantastic first impression! This is going to be fun.

Awesome, its cool to see new players getting that special cutscene. Hope you'll have lots of other great moments like that

Awesome experience as well Its Ben! I've been having a blast. Story is actually really good as well. Mechanics for the characters are different but all feel pretty good so far. I can see where the four years of development went.
